More studio still life - or rather plant life! Amazingly this potted beauty is going strong after over two years in my work space. First time in my life I'm looking after indoor plants properly!

Every now and then I do a bit of Kontakt scripting for a new Riot Audio virtual instrument. I like exercising the logical part of my brain in a creative context. I always start with the question of what’s missing in my own collection of sample libraries and virtual instruments and go from there.

The beautiful poster for @breakingwavesdoc , a wonderful new film that I recently finished writing the music for. I watched it back after sound mix and other post-production was completed last week and was genuinely blown away. Such a great team effort and I can't wait for it to get in front of audiences all over.
Thanks a million to director @alicerosso10, producer @thesiennamonster, and also to editor & DP @partridge_keith for giving me such a great film to work on!

Starting work on a new score this week, after contributing to a joint effort on a series the last two months. It's been a fun time with lots of varied settings and real-life people to write music around.

This new one is a treat and I look forward to being able to share more than a few cue names soon!

Great turnout for the London premiere of @someones

Great turnout for the London premiere of @someonesdaughter.doc last night at the @curzon_soho, followed by Q&A hosted by Steve Coogan including director @lornatucker, lead contributor and force of nature @earljc78, founder of @bigissueuk John Lord Bird and Charlie Berry, policy officer at @sheltercharity.

Great to see other members of the production there, especially producers Christopher Hird and Claire Lewis as well as editor @davidpotter.work.

Oh and the sound at the Curzon is fantastic as expected - it was a real joy to hear my score come to life in this way!

"a heartbreaking but hopeful film" and "[Director Lorna] Tucker works a kind of empathy miracle" are my favourite quotes from it. Well said!

Wonderful to see Someone's Daughter, Someone's Son

Wonderful to see Someone's Daughter, Someone's Son being well received at the Lewes Depot this evening, followed by an impassioned Q&A with director Lorna Tucker and Pam Orchard from The Connection at St. Martins.

It's been a privilege to have been part of the film's journey and it's a pleasure to see an almost packed large Screen 2 for a documentary focused on what some may feel is a difficult subject.

Reports are coming in that the film's call to action is being heeded by its audiences around the country, who are writing to their MPs in droves asking for policy change to address the rising homelessness in England and Wales.
